Felicity Kendal

Felicity Kendal is one of Britain's most successful actresses. She has played almost every leading Shakespearian role and has worked with a whole range of contemporary playwrights, including Peter Shaffer, Tom Stoppard, Michael Frayn, Simon Gray and Alan Ayckbourn. Her films included Shakespeare Wallah, directed by James Ivory, and Ken Russell's Valentino. She has appeared frequently on television and starred in Edward VII, The Good Life and The Mistress. She was awarded the CBE in 1995. She lives in London and this is her first book.
