Emma McLaughlin

Nicola Kraus and Emma McLaughlin spent a combined eight years working as nannies in Manhattan. Inside the Park Avenue penthouses of their employers, they were witness and accomplice to the nebulous lives of the NYC rich and privileged. Their first novel, The Nanny Diaries (which was adapted into a successful feature film), was based on their real-life experiences. Citizen Girl is their second novel. Nicola Kraus and Emma McLaughlin both live in New York City.
