Max Dann is the author of many books, including Bernice Knows Best, which won the Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Award - Junior Fiction. Max has also written scripts for the films Spotswood and Siam Sunset and for the Australian TV shows 'Fast Forward' and 'Sea Change' - as well as the new series, 'Worst Best Friends', which this book helped inspire.
