Esther Freud

Esther Freud was born in 1963 in London, but grew up mostly in Sussex. She trained as an actress at the Drama Centre and has since worked in television and theatre as both an actress and a writer. Penguin publish her first novel, Hideous Kinky, which was shortlisted for the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize, in addition to Peerless Flats, Gaglow, The Wild and her most recent novel, The Sea House.
