Irvin D. Yalom, Professor of Psychiatry at the Stanford University School of Medicine, is author of the classic textbooks The Theory and Practice of Group Psychotherapy, Existential Psychotherapy and Inpatient Group Psychotherapy, and co-author of Every Day Gets a Little Closer, Encounter Groups: First Facts and A Concise Guide to Group Psychotherapy.
