Tony Blundell |
Tony Blundell was born in London in 1951. He trained at Harrow School of Art, and Exeter College of Art, London. He has worked as a freelance illustrator for a variety of magazines, including Woman, Woman's World, Girl About Town, Ms. London, Executive and Mother. His personal drawings have been published in Ambit, Surrealist Transformation and South West Review. He has designed a set of eight coloured postcards for Gallery Five, two small booklets of Surrealist drawings called Le Vocatif and Owl Jumpers.
He now also illustrates books and has collaborated with Roger McGough in The Great Smile Robbery and An Imaginery Menagerie - amongst others. He enjoys photography, beer and wine making, cricket, collecting books, records, junk and humour surrealism. Tony Blundell is married and now lives near Exeter.
