Julie Le Clerc

Julie Le Clerc is a chef, food writer, stylist, teacher and consultant, and the author of six bestselling cookbooks, Simple Café Food, More Simple Café Food, Vineyards of New Zealand Cookbook, Little Café Cakes (shortlisted for two international awards), Simple Deli Food, café@home and feast@home. She is also co-author of the beautiful travel cookbook, Made in Morocco. She has a strong presence in the print media, was the food editor of Sunday Life Magazine in Australia, and is now the food editor for Viva (NZ Herald). Julie is also a staff writer for Cuisine.

Julie Le Clerc has had an eventful culinary career as a chef that includes boutique catering, establishing and operating several successful cafés, and cooking in private homes in Europe. Her latest book is Taking Tea in the Medina (2007).
