David Erdal |
David Erdal gained a BA in Oriental Studies at Oxford, then spent time in Mao’s China. He received a Harvard MBA before returning to Scotland to manage the family paper mill business, transforming it into a more open company, for which he was given the ‘Scottish Business Achievement Award’ in 1998. His St Andrews PhD was on the subject of employee ownership and he is now MD of Baxi Partnership, which structures and funds all-employee buyouts of medium-sized companies. David Erdal lives in Fife, Scotland. He is the author of Local Heroes: How Loch Fyne Oysters Embraced Employee Ownership and Business Success.
