i am sending you a review on your 1990 Penguin Guide to New York, it has been in my friends house since them, any time I viset I have to take it up and read it, going over and over it again. I have been to NYC four times from Ireland and love the city. I found your book to be so full of interesting information, and sometimes get a laugh at the way your writers describe some places, and even their staff, not all good , but that is what I love so much about the guide, what you see is what you get . I am excited and looking forward to getting your lasest guide book on NYC, but I see you are out of stock at the minute. I hope to viset there soon and will have to compare the big changes in the city since 1990. I have other smaller book, but nothing to comes close to your guide, the way the hotels ETc. are discribed , you can nearly see yourself sitting drinking a cocktail, and listening to someone over in the corner playing the piano. I love the comment about M.K. on fifth Ave , saying Food and drink prices are heafty, but you will actully save a lot of money the night you go to M.K., because you will not get in. I would love to see the inside there, but am afraid my bank account will not allow, and I am not famous. I could write for ever about NYC, but have taken up to much of you time already, please excuse any mistakes in spelling Etc. Sincearly Yours Ann Holland
