'Are you an adventurous person? Are you a chocolate lover? Well so, this is the book for you! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is written by Roald Dahl, a famous Welsh writer of children''s books. The book is set in 20th century England. The main idea of the book is how Charlie, a poor boy inherits the greatest chocolate factory ever! And the book is no deja vu!!! The main characters of the book are: Charlie Bucket, a poor boy who lives with his parents and grandparents, all being very old people. Mr. Willy Wonka is the owner of a great chocolate factory. Augustus Gloop is a typical glutton. Veruca Salt is a spoiled girl. Violet Beauregarde is chewing gum girl. Mike Teavee, is the TV boy. It starts one day when Willy Wonka announces that he has hidden 5 golden tickets in his chocolates and the winners will visit the chocolate factory. Charlie always get''s a chocolate bar from his Grandparents for his birthday and he''s so anxious that he wants it before his birthday! His birthday came and he opened the wrapping with the hope of finding a ticket. But when he opens the wrapping, he doesn''t get the ticket. But if Charlie doesn''t get it, whom do you think will get them? I think Roald Dahl is a great author of children''s books as the ones I''ve read are simply fantastic!!! This book is a great book and it really makes you hungry believe it or not. Roald Dahl''s books always leave a moral. This one''s is “If you think you can, you can!!!” Finally if you''ve thought of chocolate with this review I would advise you to go to the nearest shop and buy a Willy Wonka candy bar and see if you can find a golden ticket!!!
