This is Sam Frears' story. This is also the story of an actor, a rock-climber and a man born with an extremely rare genetic disorder. Sam was only supposed to live to the age of 5. In September, he celebrated his 40th birthday. Challenged by blindness, immobility, and a weakening body, Sam is determined to live a normal life. Being Sam Frears shows us how he continues to do so.
