From the feedback I've had in letters and e-mails to my website [www.jamieoliver.com] I definitely think I've got more of an idea about what the average person wants to cook at home. I've written Happy Days with this in mind.
I'm really proud of Happy Days - to me it feels more like a diary than a cookbook, as it's my memories of the last couple of years and because of that it's very eclectic, with little fusions and ideas from my travels. But, hey, that's what it's all about.
