Explanation of work
My idea is to convey an atmosphere of menace and mystery in a subtle and thoughtful way; the fear and tension of silence, hidden secrets and waiting danger. My research into the subjects within the book gave me the idea of a symbolic maze of questions, where our detective tries to uncover the truth whilst death waits at every crossroads, and a wall of silence presses down upon him.
