The face of the unconscious moment.
My work is about the unconscious moment the author describes as the moment of blink. So, I decided to make a portrait of the ‘2 seconds of looking’ according to ‘listening with your eyes’, ‘naked face’. I used collages/photo montages on a portrait, and tried to achieve the moment of absence by cutting it out of some important part of the face on the portrait in order to convey the no information state of unconsciousness.
Also I used tea to fill up the face to support the human figure and placed the title Blink on the top of the blank space where the eyes are supposed to be.
