Explanation of work
My final proposal for the brief is a typographic design to encapsulate time period, classic overtones, contemporary embellishments and a hint of opulence.
The 20-35ish market is usually put off by the dreary and daunting mood of the classic novel. I hope to attract this market with a stylised version that has both historic and contemporary attributes that lie well within the context of the novel and the needs and wants of the modern day reader.
