Explanation of work
Instead of designing one book jacket I decided to create a series called ‘Penguin Thriller’. The idea is that each of the books would have an image that would be taken from the book itself for example Mr Clarinet is about a man who kidnaps children and therefore the image chosen to represent this is the teddy bear. This is to give the impression that the object has been taken from a crime scene and put in an evidence bag. Adding the evidence bag into the design makes it more unique which I hope reflects Penguin design.
