Explanation of work
My design aims to be clinical, eye-catching, sophisticated and contemporary. It has underlying meanings just as the deer in the story does. The stag wine cork represents the dominantly obscure yet seemingly innocent characters and the importance of the lie about killing the deer, and the characters’ constant consumption of intoxicants which lead to the sequence of murders. The scribbled yet educated typography relates to the important events that lead to the eventual end.
