Penguin iPhone and iPad Apps

For Baby Touch enquiries:
If you are experiencing problems with apps not opening or closing, download any free app and re-sync with your iTunes account and this should fix the issue. This is an iPad/iOS problem rather than specifically related to our apps.

For any other problems:
We are sorry to hear you are having problems with one of our apps - please try the following:

  • Ensure device software is up to date. This can be checked by going to: settings > general > version.
  • For iPad – ensure the mute switch is not on. Apple changed the function of the orientation lock button to a mute button in a recent iOS update. Ensure the button next to the volume control is off (no orange dot).
  • The same update introduced multi-tasking to iOS devices. To view currently running applications, double tap the home button from the iOS home screen. Close apps to free system memory by pressing and holding until a red 'no-entry' symbol appears on the icons. Press each icon you wish to close and finally press the home button to return to normal operation.
  • Check iPod volume settings. From the home screen, double click the home button to bring up the multitasking/application pane, swipe right to show the iPod volume controls and ensure the volume is set above zero.
  • Power cycle the device. Press and hold the power button until the "Slide to power off" appears, swipe the red arrow to power down and after a few seconds, press the power button again to restart.
  • If your problem relates to downloading and installing the app from the AppStore, please restart your computer and verify you are correctly logged into iTunes.
