Penguin has been nominated for five British Book Awards. Affectionately known as the ‘Nibbies’ the awards are one of the greatest annual events on the UK publishing calendar.

The nominations are for:
Newcomer of the Year: Zadie Smith
Book of the Year: Jamie Oliver's Return of the Naked Chef
Children's Book of the Year: Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Marketing Campaign of the Year: White Teeth and the Penguin Brand campaign
Imprint and Editor of the Year: Hamish Hamilton/Simon Prosser

Winners will be announced on the 22th February
