How to support mental health charity Mind with Turtles all the way Down

Starting Monday 2nd July we will donate £1 for every use of the hashtag #YourNowIsNotYourForever to the leading mental health charity, Mind (up to the value of £10k) in celebration of John Green's novel Turtles All The Way Down

We are delighted to announce that Penguin have now met their donation target of £10K for @MindCharity. Thank you to everyone for your support in making this happen. The donations raised for @MindCharity will provide vital funds for Mind’s information, campaigns, and services. If you’re interested in finding out more about the important work that @MindCharity does, follow them on Twitter or take a look at their website.

John Green’s Turtles All the Way Down has been acclaimed for its portrayal of mental illness. The main character Aza Holmes lives with anxiety and OCD. Aza’s mother’s consoling words to her daughter of ‘your now is not your forever’ have resonated with readers worldwide.

We'd absolutely love for as many people as possible to get involved, both by posting the hashtag themselves and by encouraging others to share it.  This is not just so we can reach our £10,000 donation target but also to spread the word far and wide to those who feel that their now IS forever.
