Prize Draw Terms and Conditions:

  1. No purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.
  2. This prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion.
  3. Entries must be received by 23:59 BST 10/09/23.
  4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Automatically generated entries and entries via agents or third parties are invalid and will not be counted. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned.
  5. Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
  6. To enter fill in the form above. Online entries only, entries via email or any other means will not be accepted. The promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete, corrupted or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise. Illegible, invalid or misdirected entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion.
  7. Winners will be notified using the email contact details they submitted at the time of entry. The prize winners will be notified by email before 21/09/23. All winners will be asked to provide the address details for fulfilment of the wine. The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to contact the winning entrants to arrange for the delivery/fulfilment of their prize but if there is no response within 14 days of first contact, a winner is ineligible, rejects their prize or the contact details are invalid, the Promoter reserves the right to re-allocate the prize(s) without liability to the original winner(s). Another alternative winner will be selected using the same methodology as above and the process will repeat until an eligible winner/s is/are able to claim the prize/s. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email during this time in case they are a winner.
  8. Prize: 1 x mixed case of Blossom Hill wine, to include:
    2 x bottles of Blossom Hill Classic White 750ml
    2 x bottles of Blossom Hill Classic Red 750ml
    2 x bottles of Blossom Hill White Zinfandel 750ml
  9. There are 10 prizes in total in to be won. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. While the Promoter will make every effort to honour the advertised prize(s) (in whole or in part), the Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize, or part of a prize, with an alternative or similar value (in whole or part).
  10. Other than those specified above, the promoter shall not be liable for any costs or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with this prize and does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by the winner as result of accepting this prize.]
  11. By entering this competition, all entrants agree to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of running the competition as detailed in these terms and conditions.   12. For the purposes of prize fulfilment only, the Promoter will share the winners’ details with Blossom Hill so that Blossom Hill can send the prize to each of the winners directly.
  13. Where an entrant has opted in for their personal data to be shared with Blossom Hill for their newsletter, they agree that the promoter may transfer their personal data to that company for that purpose and Blossom Hill will be deemed to be the data controller of the personal data transferred to them. For information on how they process that data please see their privacy policy (https://www.blossomhill.com/privacy). The promoter will remain the controller of any personal data it retains for the purpose of the competition.
  14. The Promoter together with any associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profit(s)), expense of damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using a prize, except for the liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  15. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s prize claim.
  16. In the event that the promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes, beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion and/or invalidate any affected entries and/or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
  17. The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  18. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  19. The website may contain links to other websites and content downloads, including those of third parties. These links are provided for convenience and are not under the control of the Promoter and as such we make no warranty, either express or implied, concerning the content of such websites or downloads including claims of infringement or that such websites or downloads are devoid of viruses or error free.
  20. The Promoter will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations or any delay in performing its obligations within these terms and conditions. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.

If you do not want your name and county to be made available in the event that you win, please let us know by emailing vphotiou@penguinrandomhouse.co.uk. Please note we are required to make the winner’s details available to the ASA if requested.

  23. Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Promoter’s sole opinion) or who, in Promoter’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of Promoter.
  24. These Terms & Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
