Claudia revolutionised Western attitudes towards these cuisines, and inspired a generation of cooks, including Ebury’s own Yotam Ottolenghi. With a life’s worth of travelling and tasting under her belt, her 2019 Observer Lifetime Achievement Award highlights just how current appreciation of Claudia really is.
