About the author

Claudia Roden needs little introduction: a living legend, she is a world-renowned food writer who is credited with introducing us all to the rich world of Middle Eastern and North African food. Claudia revolutionised Western attitudes towards these cuisines, and inspired a generation of cooks, including Ebury’s own Yotam Ottolenghi. With a life’s worth of travelling and tasting under her belt, her 2019 Observer Lifetime Achievement Award highlights just how current appreciation of Claudia really is.
