Gilbert Ryle was Waynflete Professor of Metaphysical Philosophy at the University of Oxford between 1945 and 1968 and editor of 'Mind' from 1947 to 1971. He died in 1976. Eminent philosopher and cognitive scientist Daniel C. Dennett is the authorof Darwin's Dangerous Idea.

Danièle Ryman was born in Cahors, France, and at the age of twenty discovered her vocation when she met the pioneer of aromatherapy, Marguerite Maury. After years of training, she came to Britain to run the Maguerite Maury Clinic in London. She has been practicing for twenty-one years and specialises in skin problems. A regular participant in Cosmopolitan's Health Workshops, Danièle has also contributed to several alternative health books and broadcasts frequently on television.
Richard Atkinson (Author) Richard Atkinson Richard Atkinson is a long-time contributor to Doctor Who books and the Doctor Who magazine and worked on the launch of Doctor Who – The Complete History. Mike Tucker (Author) Mike Tucker is an author specialising in books for children and young adults, and has written several original ‘Doctor Who’ novels, a number of ‘Merlin’ novelisations, and original fiction for other shared universes. He has also co-written numerous factual books relating to film and television, including a history of the BBC’s Visual Effects Department, ‘Impossible Worlds’ (a look at the concept art of ‘Doctor Who’) and the TARDIS Instruction Manual. Alongside his writing, Mike is a BAFTA winning Visual Effects Designer, and his company - The Model Unit - has been responsible for miniature effects sequences for programmes such as ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Red Dwarf’ and ‘Good Omens.’ Bibliography 0 Gavin Rymill (Illustrator) Gavin Rymill is a digital artist specialising in 3D visualisation and digital sculpting for 3D printing. Since 2006 he has contributed to Doctor Who DVD cover artwork and supplied Doctor Who Magazine covers amongst other product artwork. Since 2013, he has been supplying sculpts for the Doctor Who Figurine collection for 3D printing as figurines.
Pauline Réage is the pseudonym of Anne Desclos, a French journalist and novelist. Story of O was first published in 1954, to much controversy and speculation as to the identity of the author. Desclos publicly admitted that she was the author of Story of O forty years after it was first published. She died in 1998.
Jonathan Rée is a freelance philosopher and historian. His previous books include Philosophical Tales, Proletarian Philosophers and I See a Voice.

He is a renowned journalist and works as a culture editor for Süddeutsche Zeitung. He lives in Munich with his family. Axel Scheffler (Illustrator) Axel Scheffler is an award-winning, internationally-acclaimed illustrator of some of the most well-loved children’s books, including The Gruffalo. His books have been published in many languages and his work has been exhibited all around the world.
