Adrian Mole given own poetry imprint ‘Mole Press’ to celebrate landmark birthday

Having first been introduced to Adrian Mole at the tender and angst filled age of 13 ¾, on the 2nd April this year the much-loved creation of Sue Townsend will be celebrating his 50th birthday.

To mark the occasion Penguin Random House is planning a series of celebratory activities, including the launch of Mole Press – an exclusive new poetry imprint featuring the work of only one, misunderstood intellectual and tortured poet, – Adrian Mole. Finally, Adrian's life-long dream will come true – a celebrated and published poet!

The book will be published in paperback on 16th March, just in time for World Poetry Day.

The Collected Poems by Adrian Mole gathers Adrian’s poems from all eight of his diaries for the first time. From his timeless debut - The Tap - via classic odes to his muse, first and only true love Pandora (I adore ya) as well as his burgeoning political anger in Mrs Thatcher (Do you weep, Mrs Thatcher, do you weep?) - Adrian Mole moves readers in ways they cannot expect.
