To enter the Lit in Colour Teacher Conference book bundle prize draw to win a reflective practice teaching 5-book bundle you will need to complete the form offered via QR code during the Lit in Colour Teacher Conference on 30 August 2023.

·  By entering this prize draw, you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions). All entry instructions form part of the Terms and Conditions of this prize draw.

·  No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw.

·  This prize draw is open to all teachers in state primary and secondary schools, alternative education settings and sixth form colleges in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland who attend the Lit in Colour Teacher Conference and complete the form.

·  Entries must be received by 23:59 BST on 30 August 2023 (Closing Date). Entries that are illegible, incomplete, corrupted or which fail to be received by the Closing Date for any reason, will not be considered. Penguin Books Limited (the Promoter) is not responsible for entries delayed or lost. Proof of completing the form is not proof of receipt by the Promotor. Automatically generated entries or entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be considered.

·  Only one entry will be accepted per individual attending the Lit in Colour Teacher Conference.

·  All valid and correctly completed entries received by the Closing Date will be entered into the prize draw. 450 teachers who attended the primary segment and 450 teachers who attended the secondary segment and correctly completed the entry form will be selected at random as the prize winners (Prize winners). You are required to attend both sessions (primary) or at least two of the three sessions (secondary) to make your entry eligible. An additional 200 primary teachers will receive Google play audio book download codes for two texts, and an additional 200 secondary teachers will receive Google play download codes for two texts. Prize winners of the audiobooks will also be selected at random. A total of 1300 book bundles are being made available. Titles included in the physical primary book bundle are City of Stolen Magic by Nazneen Ahmed Pathak, Stolen History by Sathnam Sanghera, Black in Time by Alison Hammond and E.L.Norry, Your Skin, My Skin by Laura Henry Allain, How to Raise an Antiracist by Ibram X Kendi, the two titles in the primary audiobook bundle are City of Stolen Magic by Nazneen Ahmed Pathak and How to Raise an Antiracist by Ibram X Kendi. The titles in the secondary book bundle are The Empress by Tanika Gupta (donated by Bloomsbury), Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo, How to be an Antiracist by Ibram X Kendi, Homecoming by Colin Grant and Empireland by Sathnam Sanghera, the two titles in the secondary audiobook bundle are Girl, Woman Other by Bernardine Evaristo and How to be an Antiracist by Ibram X Kendi.

·  The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

·  Events may occur which render the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary, amend or suspend the prize draw and/or prize with or without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.

·  The Prize winners will be notified via email by Monday 4 September.  Prize winners must confirm their details within 30 days of the Promoter sending the notification. If a prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.

·  Prizes will be delivered to the Prize winners by no later than 30 November 2023, with at least two weeks’ notice given to the Prize winners to expect delivery.

·  The Promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the prize draw, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this prize draw, entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. Details on how we process the personal data of entrants can be found in our Privacy Policy.

·  Prize winners agree to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.

·  The Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions (in the Promoter’s sole opinion) or who, in the Promoter’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging entries, hacking, deceiving, using multiple accounts to submit multiple entries, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants, the panel or a representative of the Promoter.

·  The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the prize draw and the results.

·  These Terms and Conditions are governed in accordance with the law of England and Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
