Those pesky Creakers like to steal things they find lying around in your room. At least with this bookmark - inspired by their story - you’ll never lose your page again!
You will need:
• The Creakers bookmark
• A printer
• A4 paper
• Some scissors (always ask a grown up for help and supervision when using scissors)
How to make it:
1. Print out the bookmark on A4 paper
2. Carefully cut around the edges, trimming off the extra paper. You can also back onto card if you'd like to make it really sturdy
3. Stick the bookmarks together back-to-back
Now you have your very own Creakers-style bookmark ready for your next read. Just make sure you check under your bed before you go to sleep!
What would you do if you woke up to find all the grown-ups had disappeared?
If you're like Lucy Dungston, you'll do anything to get to the bottom of it.
With no grown-ups, chaos descends on Lucy's town. Kids are running wild, building roads of trampolines and eating cereal for every meal - but Lucy wants her mum back, and nothing is going to stop her.
Not even the monsters who live in the upside-down world beneath her bed...
Tom Fletcher's bestselling story is packed with stinkerful black-and-white illustrations by the disgustingly talented Shane Devries and is perfect for kids to read independently or together with a grown-up!
Praise for The Creakers:
'A stonkingly good novels for the over-sevens . . . gleeful descriptions of malodorous underworld creatures, it's both a compelling adventure and a nuanced celebration of friendship and family love' The Guardian
'The illustrations are stunning and the storyline is full of twists and great ideas' R Patterson, Toppsta Reviewer
'10 out of 10 bum trumps!' Guff the Creaker
