Let us introduce you to the witches of Miss Cackle's Academy...
Miss Cackle’s Academy for Witches looks more like a prison than a school, with its gloomy grey walls and turrets. Everything about it is dark and shadowy. Even the girls themselves are dressed in black gymslips, black stockings, black hob-nailed boots and grey shirts!
But within these walls are three of the best friends you are ever likely to meet:
Mildred Hubble - our hero Mildred is disaster-prone, and positively the worst witch at Miss Cackle’s Academy.
Maud Spellbody - sensible and loyal, Mildred would be lost without her.
Enid Nightshade - mischievous and fun, Mildred and Maud love being in Enid’s company!
