Penguin Random House Audio wins five at the New York Festival Radio Awards

Penguin Random House Audio were successful at this week’s New York Festival Radio Awards, with five awards in total for their audiobooks, as well as four finalist commendation certificates.

The Awards honour “content in all lengths and forms […] celebrat[ing] the exceptional and innovative projects being created on all continents” and saw gold prizes for John le Carré’s revisit of the world of George Smiley in A Legacy of Spies, Eddie Izzard’s unforgettable turn narrating his own autobiography Believe Me (along with plenty of ad-libbing) and Stephen Fry’s bestselling Mythos.

Carlo Rovelli’s Reality is Not What it Seems was narrated by Executive Producer Roy McMillan, who runs Penguin Random House UK Audio’s very own studio based in their 80 Strand offices and has produced thousands of titles for the publisher over recent years.
