Two wins for Penguin Random House at the PPC Annual Awards
Cornerstone's Charlotte Bush and Francesca Russell celebrate their PPC Award win for Johnny Marr's Set The Boy Free

Two fantastic Penguin Random House publicity campaigns were celebrated last night at the Publishers Publicity Circle Annual Awards 2016, with Cornerstone's Charlotte Bush & Francesca Russell winning the Hardback Celebrity Award for Johnny Marr's Set The Boy Free and Vintage's Ceri Maxwell-Hughes winning the Hardback Non-Fiction Award for Paul Kalanithi's When Breath Becomes Air.

In addition, there were High Commendations for Vintage's Ruth Waldram (in the Best Debut Campaign category for Emma Cline's The Girls) and Penguin Random House Childrens' Alice Broderick for Roald Dahl's 100th Anniversary (in the Generic Campaign category).

The awards recognise the very best press and publicity campaigns within the publishing industry, with the winners being announced at the Baltic Restaurant in London. With a total of 23 campaigns making the shortlist, Penguin Random House were represented in 11 of the 12 categories on the night.
