The Queen

The Queen

Summary

This complete, hugely detailed biography of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II will be published at the end of 2025, in the run-up to her 100th birthday on 21st April 2026.

Gyles will write the Queen's tale candidly with grace and sensitivity from the view of someone so close to her, her husband Philip and the entire Royal family. The book will focus on a particular day in each year of her life, starting with her birthday in April 1926 and covering 100 years from there.

Told with a refreshing dose of humour and moving honesty from a totally unique viewpoint, Gyles Brandreth is writing the must-have biography of the Queen at a time when readers need to hear her story most.
