byIchiro Kishimi, Haydn Trowell (Translator)
FROM THE 15 MILLION-COPY BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE COURAGE TO BE DISLIKED

Why do so many of us struggle to love others – and to accept the love we deserve for ourselves? In The Courage to Love, internationally bestselling author Ichiro Kishimi brings you an inspiring guide to practising authentic love in your own life, free from self-doubt and anxiety.

Written with wisdom and compassion, this book is a fascinating exploration of the way we love, and how we can do it better. Kishimi explains the ways in which love so often becomes entangled with control, approval, or self-sacrifice, and unpicks all the other lies we tell ourselves about love that stop us from embracing it with a full heart – enabling you to understand your relationships with balance, trust and clarity.

Delving into what love truly means, this book will help you break free of simply wanting to feel special or be liked, and embrace a way of loving that is free, reciprocal and equal – without surrendering who you really are. This is a book about giving yourself permission to love, and to be loved, on your own terms.
