Bastian may be a vampire, but he doesn’t bite—anymore. He’s just trying to live his best undead life: sightseeing through Italy with his magical talking cat, Whitby, and maybe flirting with a cute boy or two.

Then a body turns up on the beach, seemingly drained by a vampire. It wasn’t Bastian. He swears—on his own grave. But the local police chief isn’t convinced and assigns the infuriatingly handsome detective Nico De Luca to watch him until his trial.
