I have worked my way up the editorial ladder, starting as a (terrible) PA, first at Reed and then at Penguin. Now, as Managing Director of Michael Joseph, I enjoy the business part of my job – delivering the numbers – more than I ever expected to and most especially working to achieve those with the incredible team at MJ. But my first and most passionate connection is to our authors. In their books people find friendship, solace, instruction and escape. They are nothing but a force for good.
