I assist Helen Garnons-Williams across Fig Tree’s brilliantly varied list, spanning literary fiction, voice-driven non-fiction, and enticing recipe books, as well as looking after our vibrant backlist. My own reading taste includes thought-provoking speculative fiction, family novels which span generations, and writing in translation. Before Fig Tree I worked in marketing for Penguin General’s communications team, and I’m passionate about stories with emotional impact, whether that’s through characters you fall for or plots that make you see the world in a new light.
