Vintage Classics

Books for life

‘A classic is a book that has never finished saying what it has to say’ Italo Calvino

Vintage Classics is home to some of the greatest writers and thinkers from around the world and across the ages. Bringing you not just the books you already know and love, but new additions to your library, these are works to capture imaginations, inspire new perspectives and excite curiosity.

The distinctive red spine of Vintage Classics launched in 2007. Since then the list has grown and evolved, launching rediscovered classics and expanding to include children’s classics, poetry, anthologies and graphic novels.

The red spine has come to stand for enduring, iconic books. Our bold, collectable design and editorial curation breathes new life into classic books for modern readers, published to reflect the world today. Because we believe that our times can best be understood in conversation with the past.
