Join us for an incredible evening to celebrate the joy of queer literature at Penguin Pride - a joyful and awe-inspiring showcase of the best emerging poets, comedians, influencers, and authors, featuring established names and fresh new talent, streamed live from Above the Stag in Vauxhall.
Listen, laugh, and learn as they share the books that have changed and shaped them. From classics to future classics – these are the all-important reads that have helped to shape psyche of the queer community. Connect through the books you love, discover your new favourite, and meet the most exciting new LGBTQ+ artists in this unique event.
Confirmed line-up includes the creator of Channel 4’s Big Boys Jack Rooke, author and illustrator Flo Perry, poet and lecturer Seán Hewitt, model and activist Yasmin Benoit, and legendary poet Andrew McMillan. The evening will be hosted by broadcaster and Celebrity Masterchef winner Riyadh Khalaf.
