Penguin has teamed up with global community space company, WeWork, to launch ‘We Read the Future’: a series of free talks from some of the leading creative and business thinkers from across the Penguin Random House list.

Taking place in WeWork’s spaces across London, the event series will be open to WeWork members and the wider community alike, and will connect them with Penguin authors in the fields of business, leadership, marketing, psychology, lifestyle and beyond.

The first event in the series will see Brave New Work author Aaron Dignan (published by Penguin Business) speak about how to get the best out of staff and business, by eliminating red tape and tapping into the collective intelligence. Flagged as “the management book of the year” by Seth Godin, and championed by the likes of Arianna Huffington, Adam Grant, Susan Cain and Miguel McKelvey, this event will set the standard for the series, during which world-class minds will share their wisdom.

An event with Cal Newport will be the next to be announced in the series, as part of his UK tour of Digital Minimalism. Cal is a tenured professor of Computer Science at Georgetown University, as well as the author of five books, including the bestselling Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World. Newport's ideas have been published in top print publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Economist, the Financial Times and The Guardian.
