Nigella Lawson Seasonal Sound Bites

Christmas lunch is Nigella Lawson's favourite meal in the world, making her the perfect guide for you this festive season. Listen below to hear all about Christmas feasting and recipe inspiration from her cookbook, Nigella Christmas

Hello, I’m Nigella Lawson and these are my Seasonal Sound Bites. Three podcasts in celebration of festive cooking, produced in collaboration with my publishers, Vintage.

I make no secret of the fact that Christmas is my favourite time of year. As I’ve often said, I wallow in it and relish it. Here, I talk through the before, during, and after of my Christmas; the nation’s classics, the alternative recipes, and those dishes I return to year after year. I want you to feel that I’m there with you, in the kitchen, as you cook. My books are the conversations we might be having, and these podcasts are an extension of that.

The three episodes are available to download and stream below or if you'd prefer all the tastiest bits in a single sitting we've compiled a 'Best of' episode too.

Episode One is all about the preparation we can do to make sure the big day itself remains stress-free. Whether it’s preparing sauces or slow-cooking a glorious Black Treacle Ham these are my top tips to keep you ahead of the game.

In Episode Two, I talk about what Christmas Day looks like in my home. We all have our own version of tradition - for non-meat-eaters, my roast stuffed pumpkin makes for a fairly spectacular alternative.

In Episode Three, I talk about the food that comes after the Christmas Day lunch; from my Ultimate Christmas Pudding to the cold cuts of Boxing Day.

You can enjoy all the best bits from Seasonal Sound Bites in the bumper compilation below. Preparation, the big day, and leftovers too, from someone who knows how to create the perfect Christmas.
