Diane Ewen is a British illustrator, born in Walsall, in the West Midlands. She has always been in love with art and graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a B.A. Honours Degree in illustration. Diane likes to create illustrations that are hand-drawn in pencil before painting in watercolour and acrylics prior to embellishing them using Photoshop but she also enjoys creating designs digitally; constantly developing her style as she progresses. She likes the fact that illustrations are the first things that entice the reader to engage with a book and is inspired by the use of vibrant colour.
Angela Hassall lives in Oxford and Norfolk. She has written four novels for older children including Straw Fire and The Sun People. For many years she taught Creative Writing for Oxford University Department of Continuing Education. Now retired and a grandmother she enjoys singing, sailing and writing for younger children.
Jack Ewing has been working as a journalist in Germany since 1994, including more than a decade as a correspondent at BusinessWeek magazine. He joined the New York Times in January 2010 as their European economics correspondent, a beat that includes the car industry. He is based in Frankfurt.
From Chicago, Eve L. Ewing is a writer and sociologist. Her works include the nonfiction Ghosts in the Schoolyard: Racism and School Closings on Chicago's South Side, the poetry collection 1919, and the Ironheart series as well as other titles for Marvel Comics. She is an assistant professor at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration.
John Meade Falkner (Author) John Meade Falkner (1858-1932) was an English novelist and poet, best known for his 1898 novel, Moonfleet. An extremely successful businessman as well, he became chairman of the arms manufacturer Armstrong Whitworth during World War I.

Lloyd Bridger (Author) Lloyd Bridger is a founding member of LDN Muscle (LDNM) having been heavily involved in building the brand identity and helping thousands of people achieve their health and well-being goals. With a BSc in Chemistry and almost 2 decades competing in sport at a high level, Lloyd is able to apply an analytical approach to health and well-being - drawing on his own experience and other he has worked alongside.
Nir Eyal spent years in the video gaming and advertising industries where he learned, applied, and at times rejected, techniques described in Hooked to motivate and influence users. He has taught courses on applied consumer psychology at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and at Fortune 500 companies. His writing on technology, psychology, and business appears in the Harvard Business Review, The Atlantic, TechCrunch, and Psychology Today.
Hermione Eyre is a journalist and former croupier. She read English at Hertford College, Oxford and was a staff writer and TV critic at the Independent on Sunday for seven years, then chief interviewer at the London Evening Standard Magazine. This is her first novel.
Following the publication of the first editon of Kicked into Touch in 1981, Fred Eyre ventured into coaching and management before setting up a successful stationery business, while remaining involved in the game as a pundit and after-dinner speaker.
Amanda Eyre Ward was born in New York City, and graduated from Williams College and the University of Montana. Her short stories have been published in various literary reviews and magazines. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, geologist Tip Meckel. She is a regular contributor to The Austin Chronicle. Sleep Toward Heaven is her first novel.

Audrey Eyton has spent most of her professional life working in the field of diet, nutrition and health, where she has become widely recognized and admired as a serious contributor and enlightened innovator. In 1969 she co-founded and directed the world's first magazine devoted to dieting, Slimming Magazine, and was responsible for many advances including the first low-fat slimming diet. In 1982 she published The F-Plan Diet which became an international multi-million-copy bestseller. Twenty-four years on she has written another ground-breaking book on diet and health, The F2 Diet. The F2 Cookbook is now available from Bantam Press. Audrey Eyton lives in Canterbury, Kent.
