Lucy Sweet was born in 1972 in Hull, but hasn't let that stop her. She got her first writing job at 19 and is a regular contributor to a wide range of publications as a journalist and cartoonist, including Punch, the Independent on Sunday, the Express and the Sunday Times. She lives in Glasgow with her husband, where she currently juggles multiple careers as a girl-about-town columnist, magazine editor and struggling musician. Coming Apart at the Seams is her second novel. Her first, Have Love Will Travel, is also published by Black Swan.
