Terrance Dicks (Author) Date: 2013-08-06 Terrance Dicks worked on scripts for The Avengers as well as other series before becoming Assistant, and later full Script Editor of Doctor Who from 1968. Dicks worked on the entirety of the Jon Pertwee Third Doctor era of the programme, and returned as a writer - scripting Tom Baker's first story as the Fourth Doctor: 'Robot'. His later script writing credits on Doctor Who included the 20th anniversary story 'The Five Doctors'. Terrance Dicks novelised many of the original Doctor Who stories for Target books, and has written original Doctor Who novels for BBC Books. Simon Guerrier (Author) Simon Guerrier is co-author of Whographica and The Scientific Secrets of Doctor Who for BBC Books, and has written countless Doctor Who books, comics, audio plays and documentaries. She lives in Essex with her husband and twin sons and writes a regular column for Doctor Who Magazine about family life. Una McCormack (Author) Una McCormack is a New York Times bestselling author. She has written two Doctor Who novels featuring the Eleventh Doctor, Amy and Rory: The King's Dragon and The Way through the Woods, as well as several audio dramas for Big Finish. She has had lots of jobs, including guiding tourists and professional nappy-changing - but she always wanted to be a writer. Her first book, Whump! in which Bill falls 632 miles down a manhole, won the BBC Talent Children's fiction prize, and was published in 2004. Mike Tucker (Author) Mike Tucker is an author specialising in books for children and young adults, and has written several original ‘Doctor Who’ novels, a number of ‘Merlin’ novelisations, and original fiction for other shared universes. He has also co-written numerous factual books relating to film and television, including a history of the BBC’s Visual Effects Department, ‘Impossible Worlds’ (a look at the concept art of ‘Doctor Who’) and the TARDIS Instruction Manual.
