There are sock animals, sock people and even sock instruments. What we loved about this book was the illustrations; everything is in back and white except for the socks! There are multi-coloured socks, patterned socks and stripy socks. We loved reading about Goldisocks and the three cross bears and the search for the Sock Ness Monster. There are lots of silly sock-related words but that just added to the fun of the book which is what reading is all about in our eyes; having fun!
