Mike Gunton is the executive producer of Life Story. He has a PhD in zoology and has produced series such as Life in the Undergrowth, British Isles: A Natural History and Life for the Natural History Unit at the BBC.

Rupert Barrington is the series producer of Life Story. He has a degree in zoology and has worked on many natural history series for the BBC, including Life, Natural World and Wildlife on One.
