Reviews

  • We meet fairy friends Cupcake, Sparkle, Button, Butterfly, Cookie and - the star of this book - Plum. It's a lovely feel-good series about friendship, baking and fairies that gives some important life lessons to little readers, such as not underestimating yourself in this story.

Mandy Archer

Mandy Archer's love of words started one Christmas when Santa brought her a typewriter. Wind forward three decades and Mandy’s still typing. After training as an editor, she went on to become the Creative Head of Children’s Books for BBC Worldwide, nurturing a host of characters including Wallace & Gromit and the Teletubbies. Since then she has devised all kinds of titles for children and teens, ranging from board books for babies through to paperbacks and pop-ups. For the record, she still can’t shake her stationery habit. Her prize possession is a rather snazzy electronic pencil sharpener.
