A young curator takes a new job in a remote town working at the Museum of Silence. The museum’s owner has amassed a large collection of unusual artefacts over the course of her long life: each one was stolen from a local person just after their death and each one tells the story of their true nature.

Uneasy at first, the curator starts to accept taking over these clandestine collection duties. But when several violent deaths take place in the town he realises that things are more sinister than he first imagined.
