Caroline Sylge is a poet and author who has been a trusted expert on retreats and retreating for over 30 years. She is the founder of Queen of Retreats, the trusted retreat platform powered by The Global Retreat Company, as well as a retreat-focused journalist, whose credits include The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, Condé Nast Traveller, andNational Geographic. She is the author of healthy travel guidebooks Body & Soul Escapes and Body & Soul Escapes: Britain & Ireland , a Carcanet-published poet and a judge for the British Book Awards. Caroline has an MA in English from the University of Sussex and a First Class BA in English from the University of Birmingham. She lives in Devon, England, with her husband and daughter.
