Drew and Della have shared the same friendship group since college—and have barely been able to stand each other for just as long. Burnt out by the relentless pace of corporate life, they both retreat to Rhode Island in search of some much-needed rest and relaxation. The only problem? They're just as bad at switching off as they are at slowing down.

But as one long, hot summer unfolds, beach days replace boardrooms and midnight swims take the place of all-nighters in the office. Before either of them realises it, what started as an old rivalry begins to look a lot like effortless compatibility.
