By day, Margot is a body mover for a funeral home in Chicago. By night, she scours through true-crime chatrooms and Reddit, determined to solve her friend Lana’s disappearance. Concerned about Margot’s reclusive lifestyle, her other friend Georgina decides to her up on a blind date.

Margot arrives at the restaurant ready to get the date over and done with, thinking it will go the way they always do, but to her surprise, the man sitting on the opposite side of the table is handsome, charismatic, and . . . perfect.
