Diary of a Magical Vet

It’s the first day of the school holidays, and while everyone else is off having fun, I’m stuck in detention.

Shovelling unicorn dung in the campus stables. Just one mistake away from being expelled, wondering where it all went wrong.

My name’s Morgan Humber. I’m eleven years old (or fifty-six in goblin years), and I’m a first-year student at Firebelly Vet School.

I’ve dreamed of becoming a magical animal vet since I was old enough to ride a Pegasus. But unless something changes soon, that dream’s about to go up in smoke . . .

When would-be magical vet in training Morgan discovers a clutch of dragon eggs, he hopes his troubles at school are over. He can finally prove to everyone that he is capable of looking after magical animals, once and for all!

Instead, his problems are only beginning. Turns out caring for three baby dragons is HARD WORK, and they're prone to more than just a little bit of mischief. Luckily Morgan can rely on the help of his friends - but can he convince his teachers to give him another chance . . .?
