Pilar Quintana is one of the most acclaimed South American authors at work today. She has twice been a finalist for the National Book Award in Translation. and has been longlisted for the Dublin Literary Prize; she has also won the Premio Alfagura, Spain’s most prestigious literary award, the Premio Biblioteca de Narrativa Colombiana, and the English PEN Award.
